We are celebrating our 25th Anniversary with events planned throughout this year.  Please join us to plan these memorable events.  All are welcome.   We need seasoned and newer parishioners on our planning teams and a good cultural cross representation of our parish family.  Contact: Betty or Steve May at 916- 683-3088 email 25thanniversary@gscceg.org  

Save these Dates:

  • Now - STAINED GLASS fundraising:  Write a note of thanksgiving, memorialize a loved one, dedicate a leaf for someone special.  You can purchase leaves for the donation of $300 for each leaf  We have approximately 150 leaves remaining.  Thank you to all who’ve already purchased them and for those who provided even larger donations to this project.  Pick up your order forms in the Narthex or the parish office or set up an appointment with Fr. Leon if you are considering a substantial donation to the project.
  • Bring in your NON-returnable, unframed pictures of your GSCC memories to the parish office or give to Betty or Steve by March 31st to be used in a special collage to be on display the weekend of April 21 and 22nd.  Pictures should be no larger than 4"x6" and must have the date and names on the back of the picture.   Remember... these images will not be returned to you
  • The next general meeting is Monday, March 5 Room A St. Lucia (5th grade)  6:30pm (all are welcome)
  • Additional general meetings are on the following dates.

    • April 2 Room A St. Lucia (5th grade)  6:30pm
    • April 9 Room A St. Lucia (5th grade)  6:30pm
    • April 16 St. John Paul II  6:30 pm
  • April 21st at 5:00 - 6:30 pm Jubilee Mass celebrated with Bishop Soto and past and present Clergy; includes the unveiling of the new stained glass and the dedication of two very special Holy door bricks;  followed by an adults only formal anniversary gala dinner celebration.  We will also kickoff our outdoor kitchen fundraising.  See the bulletin insert for details and how to reserve your seats at this once in a lifetime dinner. Expect this event to sell out quickly
  • April 22 - Anniversary Receptions for people of all ages following each of the Masses in the Fr. Philip Wells Hall.  It will be open to all parishioners (no tickets or reservations needed)  Free will donations will be accepted to offset some of the expenses.
  • June 23rd Fundraiser - Cook-off and Micro Brew picnic
