COUPLES FOR CHRIST
Couples For Christ (CFC) is a Catholic movement intended for the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life. CFC couples have committed themselves to the Lord and to one another so that they may grow in maturity as men and women of God and fulfill their primary vocation of raising families grounded in Christian values, in the service and love of God. If you want to grow your faith serving the Lord as husband and wife and raising families with God as the center of your family life, please consider CFC. We have programs, teachings and approaches to Christian renewal within the context of family relationships. We have other family ministries within the CFC community: Kids for Christ, Youth for Christ, Singles for Christ, Handmaids of the Lord, and Servants of the Lord. With our vision of “Families in the Holy Spirit renewing the face of the earth”, each of CFC family ministry’s goal is to strengthen relationships with God and with family members. Visit CFC website at: https://couplesforchristusa.org. Contact Ernesto Sahagun, CFC Ministry Coordinator, at esahagun123@frontier.com for more information.
CURSILLO
The Cursillo is an encounter with Christ. Correctly practiced and overseen the Cursillo Movement can have very positive results in the spiritual revitalization of the world. The Christ-likeness in a few people is contagious. The transference of Christ's values to others in one's family, school, place of business, etc., is the Christianizing of environments the Cursillo promotes. The goal of the movement is that Christ be the prime influence in society. So it is said the PRIMARY OBJECTIVES of the Cursillo Movement are to develop in adult Christians a consciousness of their ability and mission to become leaders in the work of Christian renewal, and to sustain them as they provide a Christian leaven in civic, social and economic life. This "Christianizing of environments" is what the Cursillo movement is about. For more information contact Monica Small at Cursillo@gscceg.org.

STEWARDSHIP
Christ describes believers as STEWARDS – meant to oversee his possessions and affairs here on earth. Our understanding of STEWARDSHIP is discussed further in scripture, Matthew 25:14–30. Time, talent, and treasure are the ways in which we share our unique and individual God-given gifts with the Body of Christ throughout our faith community and the greater community in which we live. We are working to build a community of generous stewards who have made a deliberate decision to live as missionary disciples of Jesus Christ.
The Stewardship Committee’s goals are:
1. Support and create an environment of hospitality where parishioners enjoy sharing their God-given talents and interests through participation in the various Good Shepherd Parish ministries and activities.
2. Through prayer and guidance in the Holy Spirit, discern, identify, and encourage fellow parishioners to recognize, appreciate and share their God-given gifts.
3. Act as a resource and support for Good Shepherd Parish ministries by connecting interested individuals to those ministries that best match their gifts and interests.
If you are interested in helping to facilitate these goals at Good Shepherd Parish, please contact Deacon Rommel Declines at stewardship@gscceg.org.
