Weekly Reflection - First Sunday of Advent (2025)
Dear Good Shepherd Parish Family,
Awake, the time is now. Climb the Lord's mountain, embracing the journey's challenges and joys. Walk carefully, listening to His instructions, and rejoice in the journey to His house. This is is our spiritual walk or journey. We need to walk carefully listening to His directions as there is a possibility of falling to the dangerous zones.
Don't waste time, don't delay. Be vigilant, for the Master comes soon. Be ready with your account, radiant with the armor of light.
This is Advent – a call to urgency, a call to preparation. Let us throw off darkness and walk in His ways, rejoicing in the promise of salvation, nearer now than ever.
Let’s try to walk together as the real missionaries.
Blessings and Prayers,
Fr. Davis Koottala
