Music Ministry

God has told us in Psalm 147:7, to "Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving."  In Colossians 3:16, He tells us, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, as in all wisdom you teach and admonish one another, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God."  He is asking us to sing.  And in Paslm 98:4-6, He truly emphasizes His desire for us to praise Him by saying, "Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth; break into song; sing praise. Sing praise to the LORD with the lyre, with the lyre and melodious song. With trumpets and the sound of the horn shout with joy to the King, the LORD."

It may seem like there's no time to practice.  But, the Lord is calling upon all of us to do so.  When you find the time for Him, He will spend time with you.  Come participate in singing the good news of the Lord! Share the talents He has given you.  When you sing, you glorify God by spreading His joy, you follow His teachings by sharing your talents, you strengthen the faith of fellow parishioners and energize the parish in hope.
