Knights of Columbus Family Rosary Nights
When: 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7 pm - 8:00 pm
Where: Good Shepherd Church
The Knights of Columbus of Good Shepherd Catholic Church is offering a Rosary Night of Prayer in honor of our Blessed Mother.  We invite all parishioners and all Brother Knights to attend.  This event happens every 2nd Tuesday of the Month and is a family event. We will not be providing chaperones for this event so all young must be accompanied by a gaurdian. 

CONFIRMATION PREPARATION TEENS: Knights of Columbus Rosary Nights count as 1 Grove Credit. 
There will be a QR code to sign-in at the end of the Rosary.
A parent must accompany your teen since there will not be Core Team supervision provided at this event.

The Grove Family Prayer Night
When: Select 4th Sunday's of the month from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Where: Good Shepherd Church or Philip Wells Hall
The Grove Youth Minsitry invites all young people and their families to our family prayer nights. We will have either Eucharistic Adoration, Way of the Cross or another form of prayer that will be sure to provide you and your family a space to deepen you relationship with Christ. 
We will not be providing chaperones for this event so all young must be accompanied by a gaurdian.

Occasionally we see the benefit of teens being able to view faith based movies released in the theaters. We will post these opportunities once they have gone through a staff & USCCB/Catholic media review.   

TRIUMPH OF THE HEART movie screening (official trailer), table discussion and Marian Consecration Prayer September 11, 2026 in the Good Shepherd Parish Hall. Teens must be accompanied by an adult. 
Parents: please use available online resources, including this Parent's Guide to Triumph of the Heart review to determine if you feel this material is suitable for your teen.  NOT recommended for children younger than 13. 
Summary: Triumph of the Heart is a 2025 biographical drama directed by Anthony D'Ambrosio that chronicles the final two weeks of St. Maximilian Kolbe’s life in an Auschwitz starvation bunker. In the harrowing confines of Auschwitz's starvation cell, Catholic priest St. Maximilian Kolbe volunteers to die in place of another prisoner, joining nine others condemned by the Nazis. As despair and fear grip the group, the pressures of starvation, internal ideological division, mount. But throughout, Kolbe's appeal to their shared humanity and Polish identity forges a brotherhood that culminates in a poignant act of sacrifice that echoes beyond the cell, illuminating hope in one of history's darkest moments.

Summary: You think you have troubles? Try living in the Fertile Crescent circa 600 B.C. Jeremiah saw trouble coming, of course. As God’s true prophet, it was his job. His calling. He tried to warn his king, Jehoiakim. But did Jehoiakim listen? Noooo. “Jehoiakim despised the true prophet and God’s Word,” we’re told, and he set about burning the scroll, bit by bit. Next thing he and the people of Jerusalem knew, the Babylonian army was at the walls—led by none other than King Nebuchadnezzar himself. “You have been weighed and measured and been found wanting,” Nebuchadnezzar tells Jehoiakim, in a nifty bit of foreshadowing. And with that, Jehoiakim was no more. Moreover, Nebuchadnezzar decides to take a whole bunch of Jerusalem’s residents back to Babylon. But this, too, Jeremiah foresaw, with God’s help. And he prepared some especially promising young men for the trip: Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. These four men got themselves ready, sewing Scripture into their tunics so they’d have the Word of God with them as they entered Babylon’s gates. They were being sent to those unholy streets with a holy purpose: to keep God’s Word alive in a place seemingly so distant—and perhaps to impress upon Babylon’s own mighty king how frail, how fragile, his kingdom truly is. But Nebuchadnezzar, like Jehoiakim, doesn’t listen well. As Daniel and his crew will discover, God will set aside His still, small voice for the king: He’ll shout with some mighty demonstrations instead.
