Welcome Back to the Table

November 12 Update:

The amended Sacramento County Health Order issued this week moved us back into the State's Purple Tier 1 for allowable activities.  Therefore, all Masses for this weekend will be outside in our worship space on the school blacktop.  Mass times will be as currently scheduled.  Our weekday 8:30 a.m. Masses will also be outside until further notice.  Saturday confessions will be from 3:30-4:25 in the John Paul II Room adjacent to the parish office.  Please line up outside while waiting for your turn for confession.

The Prayer Service for Racial Healing is postponed.

When deciding whether or not to attend Mass, please remember that the dispensation remains in place for all Catholics in our diocese.  If you are unable to tolerate the cold weather conditions, are age 65 or older or have other health concerns, we urge you to stay home and watch our recorded Mass.

Our tent does not accomodate everyone while social distancing.  Be prepared to sit outside of the tent -- bring your own chairs and umbrellas.

Please continue to watch your email and check our website for updates.  This is an evolving situation and we are working to comply with local regulations while providing you with the opportunity to safely attend Mass and receive the Eucharist. We thank you for your patience and ask that you continue to pray for an end to the Pandemic.

October 14 Update:

All Masses will now be inside the church and will be limited to 100 attendees.  If you would like to attend but DO NOT have a reservation, please understand that we will be holding to the 100-person limitation and you might not get a space if you’re in the standby line.  If you DO have a reservation, please arrive no later than 15 minutes before Mass.  In order to ensure that everyone is seated at the start of Mass, we will begin allowing the standby line into the sanctuary at about 10 minutes prior to Mass.  If you have not arrived by then, we cannot guarantee your reservation.  So that our volunteers can attend Mass, the doors will be closed once Mass begins.

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to attend.  If you were unable to get a spot, remember that the dispensation from attending Mass remains in effect.  You can also watch our recorded Mass on our YouTube channel on Sunday any time after 7:00 a.m.

September 30 Update:

Yesterday we were given permission to resume Mass inside the Church with the limitation of 100 attendees. Therefore, we will be making the following changes:

1.  As of Monday, October 5, the 8:30 a.m. weekday Masses will be held inside the Church.  We are limited to 100 people so please sign up online to attend.

2. Due to the limitation on the number of attendees, we will have all of our weekend Masses outside for this coming weekend (Oct. 3 & 4).  This will allow us to accommodate everyone who has already signed up to attend Mass.  Next week we will have more information regarding Masses for the weekend of Oct. 10 & 11.

3.  We will resume Saturday confessions from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. beginning on October 10.  Confessions will be heard in the Conference Room and the Sacristy, not in the church confessionals.

Thank you to everyone who has been joining us for Mass, whether it be in person or online!  Please continue to pray for God's mercy and protection for all of us as we make our way through these uncertain times.

July 15 Update:

In light of the Governor's order on July 13, the Church is once again closed for indoor services. We will have Mass outdoors on the school basketball court (east of the Fr. Phillip Wells Hall).

  • The check in table will be in the Hall, at the east entrance by the kitchen. Check in begins 30 minutes prior to the start of Mass.
  • We suggest that you park in the north parking lot on the Kilconnell side.
  • Not all seats will be in the shade.  Please prepare with hats and/or umbrellas, sunscreen and water.
  • Masks must still be worn during Mass.

July 14 Letter From Bishop Soto

June 1, 2020

Dear Parishioners,

You are probably aware that last week Bishop Soto gave permission for parishes to resume public Mass.  Our first public Mass will be on Monday, June 8th at 8:30 a.m.  We are limited to 100 attendees per Mass.  Therefore, we are using signupgenius.com as a way for parishioners to reserve a spot at the Mass they wish to attend.  To be fair to everyone, we ask that you please only sign up to attend ONE Mass per week, whether that be a weekday or a weekend Mass.  Remember that the dispensation from attending Mass remains in effect for everyone.

We have created a short video which contains helpful information so that you will know what to expect when returning to Mass.  Please take a few minutes to watch it and familiarize yourself with these new protocols that have been put in place to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

Prior to reopening, we will be completely disinfecting the church building.  In order to do this, the church will be closed from 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6th until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8th.

As this situation continues to evolve, your patience and understanding is very much appreciated.  With grateful hearts, we give thanks for the support of our amazing parishioners and for the upcoming opportunity to join together again as one flock in our beloved church home.  Welcome back to the table!

Yours in Christ,

Fr. Chris Frazer

Making A Reservation for Mass

Making A Reservation To Attend Mass

Guidelines For Coming to Mass

  • Mass check in begins 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Anyone that is not pre-registered for that Mass will be asked to wait in a standby line until 10 minutes before Mass.  At that point we will begin admitting those in the standby line as space permits.  Anyone with a registration who hasn't checked in may lose their seat.  If you have a reservation, we suggest that you arrive no later than 15 minutes before Mass starts.
  • Please sign up for only the members of your household that will be attending Mass with you.  Make sure you reserve a slot for each person.  Simply adding that information to the comments on the sign up DOES NOT reserve a spot for each person.
  • If you sign up and then are unable to attend Mass, please delete your sign up or call the parish office to let us know.  Our sign ups are getting full but we have people who are not showing up for Mass.  Also, do not reserve spots for family members unless you are certain they will attend with you.  Please be courteous to your fellow parishioners — remember we have many people trying to make a reservation to attend Mass.
  • Everyone (except children under 2 years of age) is required to wear a mask.
  • Please take a moment to view the videos on our website so that you will know what to expect when returning to Mass.
  • If you are unable to sign up online, please contact the parish office.
