An Invitation for New Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC)
Are you interested in providing Eucharist during Mass or in the home? Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) serve by helping with distribution of Communion during Mass and Homebound Ministers (HB) visit people to provide Communion in their homes or facilities. Training is available for new ministers and those requiring annual training on June 21. Training will be held in the church. New ministers must have submitted an application before attending training. Applications can also be found in the church Narthex near the Our Lady of Guadalupe portrait. Completed applications can be dropped off at the parish office or emailed to emhc@gscceg.org.
New Homebound Ministers will have additional training requirements which must be completed prior to performing HB duties.
