Good Shepherd Adopt a Family

May 2026

Good Shepherd, through the coordination of Works of Mercy Homeless Outreach Ministry is partnering with community organizations to enable individuals and families to transition into stable housing.  Your assistance is needed to help them get on their feet to furnish their new apartments/homes.

Please refer to the sign up below to see what items are needed.  Donations can be dropped off on Monday mornings at the outside door to the kitchen in the Fr. Philip Wells Hall.  Contact Laura at annlaurablakey@yahoo.com to make alternate arrangements if you're unable to drop off during these hours.  God bless you and thank you ahead of time for your charitable heart and good works of mercy!

Adopt a Family Sign Up

"Whatsoever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me."  As the giver, please consider this passage when determining if your gift is something that will be pleasing to God.  Used household items are welcome as long as they are clean and in very good condition.  When considering whether or not to donate a used item, please donate with love and only those items that you would be proud to give to a dear friend or family member.  Do not donate items if broken, chipped, damaged or dirty.  Please prewash all items prior to donating (where appropriate).  Realistically, for sanitation purposes, some items must be new and others are marked as such.  During drop off/pick up, donations will be screened to assure they meet the necessary criteria.
