"We walk by faith, not by sight." (2 Corinthians 5:7)
The second reading this Sunday invites us to reflect on faith. In our Baptism, we received this theological virtue which enables us to live a supernatural life. Anyone who has tried Google Earth has seen the perspective of things change as one goes upward.
Faith is like a muscle that has to be exercised in order to grow. When this habit is formed it becomes second nature to judge my life and everything that happens to me from God's perspective.
Questions for Reflection:
- How is my faith?
- Do I see my life and all that happens to me in a purely natural way?
- Do I sincerely trust that without understanding everything that happens to me, my loving Father knows and that is enough?
