Welcome to Religious Education & Sacrament Preparation for 2022-2023. The information on this page pertains to CFF Families at Good Shepherd Parish.

Are you interested in being a CATECHIST or CORE TEAM MEMBER?
Please contact the Office of Religious Education to find out more information and discuss how you
can share your time & talent as a Steward of the Faith.
A registration discount may be applied for approved CFF Catechist & Confirmation Core Team families.
Please note:
- Class availability is subject to change based on enrollment and available Catechists/Core Team.
- Registrations will be processed on a first come/first serve basis once we receive ALL of the completed registration form(s) AND online payment through Faith Direct (credit card payment over the phone or a check sent in by mail are also acceptable). Please refer to the Checklists below.
NEW Student/Family Registration Checklist
NEW students/families being registered in the Good Shepherd Religious Education Program for the first time, need to provide copies of the following necessary documents (*) along with the completed registration forms so that we can setup a parish record for your child/family:
- Birth Certificate
- Baptism Certificate
- First Holy Communion Certificate (if this sacrament has already been received)

- Gmail address for student (see notes on the registration forms)
- Necessary documents (for NEW student/family registrations ONLY)
- Make your registration payment online through Faith Direct
Confirmation Preparation Registration Checklist
- Completed Registration Forms
- Individual Gmail addresses for the Student AND Parent (see notes on the registration forms)
- Completed Diocesan Youth Permission Form
- Necessary documents (for NEW student/family registrations ONLY)
- Make your registration payment online through Faith Direct
(*) If you are unable to scan documents at home, you may bring the originals to the Parish Office and we will copy them for you and attach them to your registration. Please let the office staff know that these documents are being provided for Religious Education/Sacrament Preparation Registration.

| (If your child has special needs that require a home-based curriculum, you need to contact the Office of Religious Education to schedule an interview prior to submitting your Registration. Please be prepared to supply a copy of your child's IEP to help us assess curriculum needs). |

6:00 - 7:30 PM in the Fr. Philip Wells Parish Hall
(Pick one night to attend)
Mandatory for all families with children enrolled in CFF Classes (Grades 1 - 6). We will be discussing the NEW format for our CFF Class Calendar at this meeting.

(BOTH the Candidate & a Parent/Adult Family Member need to attend this meeting)
Candidates: bring a 1-inch 3-ring binder & 5 divider tabs with you to this meeting.
