Triumph of the Heart

Good Shepherd parish’s Soldiers of St. Michael the Archangel Men’s Ministry, the Exodus 90 Men’s Ministry of Our Lady of Grace parish, the St. Joseph’s Movie Ministry, along with support from the Catholics In Recovery Ministry, invites all in our community to a special screening retreat featuring the film “Triumph of the Heart.” This film is a moving true story of St. Maximilian Kolbe, the Franciscan priest who offered his life in exchange for another prisoner at Auschwitz during World War II. The film is not formally rated, but recommended PG-13.

Our parish is thrilled to host this special community screening. This screening retreat will also have a brief reflection and sharing time after the film, as well as commencing a 14 day Marian consecration following St. Maximilian’s path to the Immaculata. God willing it, the Marian consecration ends on September 24th, which is the feast day of Our Lady of Mercy.

When: Friday, September 11, 2026. Doors open at 5:30 PM. MOVIE STARTS AT 6:00 PM in the Fr. Philip Wells Hall
