GREETER MINISTRY TRAINING

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic people to welcome fellow parishioners at Mass on Sundays by helping to staff our welcome center, especially at the 7am and 5pm Masses. If you love to greet others with a smile and warmly welcome them to our parish family, this ministry is for you! USHER MINISTRY TRAINING

It’s that time of year again for our mandatory Usher Ministry Training!  All current ushers are asked to attend this annual training to remain current and continue serving in this important ministry. Training will be held on Friday, September 25 at 6pm in the church narthex.  The training will include a review of usher responsibilities, Mass procedures, hospitality, safety and emergency protocols, and ministry updates.  

Have you been looking for a meaningful way to serve our parish?  Anyone interested in becoming an usher is warmly invited to attend!  The usher ministry is a rewarding opportunity to welcome parishioners and visitors, assist during the celebration of the Mass, and help provide a safe, organized and prayerful environment for everyone.  No previous experience is necessary—we provide the training.  Whether you are a young adult, an individual, a couple or a family wishing to serve together, we would love to welcome you to our ministry.  For more information, email ushers@gscceg.org.
