"Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature." (Mk 16:15)
Before the Lord ascended to heaven he left us the missionary mandate to go and make disciples. The nature of the Church is to evangelize. No one is exempt from this commitment that comes from our Baptism. We don't need extensive preparation to share with others what Christ has done for us. All the graces we receive are actually meant not only for us but for others.
Reflection:
- Who has heard my message?
- Am I aware that every encounter I have with another person is arranged by God?
- If I am not convinced of my faith do I seek to overcome my doubts by prayer and study?
