Weekly Reflection - Solemnity of All Saints (2026)
"Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God" (Mt. 5:8)
This Sunday is the Solemnity of all Saints. The following day we commemorate All Souls. The month of November begins with a profound reflection on the last things. The decision for God is the most important one in our lives. St. Ignatius offers a reflection on the decision we face on our deathbed. What decision would we like to have made at that moment when there is no more time?
Ultimately, realizing that God has a plan for our lives—that He has given us talents and a specific amount of time to realize it—is fundamental. Every day counts, every moment counts. Our particular judgement is another one of the last things we are to meditate on. To whom much is given, much will be expected. We can say that our mission to do all the good while there is time is always urgent.

- Do I meditate often on the last things?
- Am I living this day as if it were my last?
- How do I know it is not?
